WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO WORK AT CONFLUCORE?

Over my career spanning decades, I have seen consultants come up with “playbooks” and “believe-me” stuff, almost never living up to fullest promises and insisting on linear, reductionist, static frameworks. ConfluCore is different: genuine about client challenges and issues and in building up – from where the client is – to providing dynamic, holistic solutions that work. They also develop and enable the clients so they succeed and are prepared for solving other similar issues.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION YOU HAVE BEEN A PART OF?

Having been the leader of a program – a series of three projects – I designed and implemented one of the largest logistics and supply-chain solutions bridging 3 continents in an integrated air, road, and sea network, while simultaneously ensuring real-time accounting practices and tax records for all stakeholders through needed IT. This was a challenge, required multiple skills, and necessitated the integration of different cultures and management practices.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO YOU MOST ENJOY HELPING CLIENTS ADDRESS?

At this stage in my career, I like to do two things. Firstly, I like to advise and coach organizational senior executives and their fresh hires in ethical accounting, auditing, and finance as ordained for sound business. Secondly, I like to link important business and government leaders in discovering confluence through futuristic dialogues and planning futuristic growth.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING IN FREE/PERSONAL TIME?

I like to travel with my good wife to visit our children living on 3 continents and investing quality time with my grandchildren and many relatives. I like poetry and reading and also intellectual discussions by meeting wise people world over.
