Our People

Rashmi Jha

Emphasizing fresh approaches to understanding issues and emerging trends, Rashmi is an exceptionally accomplished consultant. Inspired by her father who is the COO of one of the world’s largest steel plants, in less than a decade, Rashmi has served large Global-1000 corporations in Asia and the U.S. Her focus on combining strategy and innovation established her base for confluence, on which she is now building ConfluCore’s SIGOMO™ approach. Some of the clients she has served include Accenture, Bankway, Fidelity, Tesco, and United Health Group.

Working on a variety of issues, Rashmi has acquired wide content expertise. Her ‘core’ banking solution, developed for a leading U.S. financial services institution using an IBM MVS mainframe delivery system, today processes over 17 million deposit accounts and is used in data centers of over 1,000 financial institutions worldwide. For another service company, she streamlined business processes, redesigned metrics using automation tools, and designed balanced scorecards. At a multinational retailer, she developed a sales management solution, changing forecasting methods and integrating a continuous replenishment system, which boosted sales and profitability. For another retail client, she re-segmented consumer markets based on emergent trends and linking these to just-in-time systems to streamline their multi-firm supply chain; all resulting in a double-digit rise in profitability. With a healthcare client, she developed a data/IT application that processes millions of health care claims daily and rapidly resolves hundreds of claim issues. While accomplishing such superior feats, she was recognized through Key Contributor, Employee Achiever, and Value Differentiator awards.

Starting in Bhopal, India, Rashmi earned distinctions and got into RGPV from where she earned a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electronics and Communications. Relentless to keep learning, she is concurrently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics, steadily maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She speaks 3 languages and, with her husband, shuttles between California and Texas on consulting and training projects.

Why did you decide to work at ConfluCore?

Having a strong passion for both strategy and innovation, ConfluCore provides me the confluence of these two and also links these to the other business imperatives. These are all crucial to an organization’s growth and success, and I am learning these holistically.

What’s the biggest transformation you have been a part of?

Over almost a decade, I worked with several development teams on a variety of projects. I enjoyed integrating their data and decisions implementing large applications. At Tesco, I developed and implemented a sales forecasting and management model that boosted revenues and product innovation.

What challenges do you most enjoy helping clients address?

I like to help our clients bridge the gap between the latest R&D and management practices, particularly relating their initiatives to real impact and well-directed growth. When they understand the tangible benefits of our efforts, I enjoy working on their projects.

What do you like doing in free/personal time?

Science fiction is my passion; I love watching it as well as adventure TV series. I also listen to music as it helps me relax. But I love to travel with my husband to new places and experience different cultures.
